From 23rd to 27th September, the leading annual event for ceramics took place: the Cersaie fair in Bologna, Italy. Here’s a short journey through our stand, where you’ll discover not only our latest launches, but also the very soul of our brands Livingceramics and Lithotech.
At Livingceramics, we prioritise simplicity and functionality, placing emphasis on spaces that are beautiful, sensory, and practical. Our essence lies in creating spaces to breathe—spaces that invite a state of mind which awakens the innate longing for connection with our original home: nature.

Through a poetic play of light and shadow, form and void, we sought to create a space that evoked a deep sense of tranquillity—an invitation to live the present moment with mindfulness and grace. Our DNA is rooted in crafting spaces and materials that inspire calm and serenity through clean lines, unadorned forms, and open, uncluttered areas.
Our stand was inspired by Japanese architecture and its unique sense of beauty through the concept of wabi-sabi, evoking a modest aesthetic that draws closer to nature. Wabi represents quiet simplicity, finding beauty in non-material freedom and harmony with the natural world, while sabi expresses elegant minimalism. The design also embraced elements of the “less is more” philosophy championed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in the modern architectural movement.

Our aim was to create a composition through a simple structure that carried a sense of tension within its simplicity, paired with a feeling of depth. The space was divided into two parts—exterior and interior—and offered subtle suggestions for improving our quality of life: it provided privacy, created a sense of continuity in the living space, and featured a sea of fine pebbles flowing from the outside in.
Delicate black iron latticework and a wall combined with glass were the only barriers between the exterior and the interior. If removed entirely, nature would flow into the space and become a natural source of decoration. The open corners framed in glass offered panoramic views of the garden and enhanced visual pleasure. To illuminate the space, spotlights were carefully chosen to highlight the connection between the human being, the space, and nature.

The idea was for visitors to take away the first impression of a home, and a carefully prepared exterior view was the best way to express our hospitality. The outdoor area featured small pebbles, Japanese maples, our Oda collection in 20 mm, and an outdoor kitchen. The interior space was a study in simplicity and tonal flexibility, evoking a sense of calm.
Glass partitions and panels gave the living area great versatility, allowing the size and shape of the room to be adapted. The austere elegance might have seemed striking at first, but it had a soothing effect. A restless soul could find quiet relief. It was clear that the balance between left and right had been intentionally shifted to create a dynamic beauty—what the Japanese refer to as the concept of asymmetry in aesthetics.

The final room in the interior space served as an important buffer between the indoors and outdoors, helping to draw nature into the home through the green area and the large table made with our new Oda collection, while still offering a sense of protection and security. We maintained unity, spaciousness, and harmony between the interior and exterior, with the garden playing a central role.

News
Oda | New collection
The Oda collection is a tribute to stone. It is inspired by the typical stones of France’s west coast—rich in fossils with strongly defined organic shapes in varying sizes and intensities. The colours, timeless and stone-inspired, allow the fossils to stand out thanks to their rich, nuanced tones. The result is a contemporary collection with hints of history, giving it a truly unique charm.
The collection features 3D.FIT technology—unique in the market and improved year after year through constant research and the pursuit of perfection in contemporary surfaces. 3D.FIT ensures that the graphic pattern and the relief of each piece align seamlessly, just as they do in natural stone. This achieves all the efficiency and performance of ceramic material, with an aesthetic that comes as close as possible to the look and feel of natural stone.

Gubi | New finishes and colours
Gubi is the most contemporary collection on microcement effect, and one of the most highly regarded by architects and interior designers. It now evolves with two key updates:
-
The introduction of 3D.FIT technology. Thanks to this digital relief innovation, the graphic and texture align perfectly, achieving a finish that stays as true as possible to the look of real microcement.
-
An updated colour palette: Ice, Light, Greige, and Cloud. Four carefully curated shades designed to strike a balance between timelessness and modernity, offering tones that fill spaces with light.

Bera&Beren | New Ductile Relief
The most iconic collection from Livingceramics and Lithotech—a go-to for professionals seeking stone-inspired designs rich in detail and hyper-realistic textures. This collection is now renewed with the introduction of the new Ductile Reliefs, crafted from our innovative Ductile material. The base has a thickness of 9mm. The standout feature of Ductile lies in its advanced composition, making it a lighter ceramic that is easier to handle and install. The 60×120 cm large format enables seamless surfaces with fewer joints.
