During a week in which design filled every corner of Milan, Livingceramics | Lithotech invited a pause. It did so with Ch. 02 The Mind, a space conceived not to showcase, but to make one feel.

Inside the Palazzo Bocconi, amidst dim lighting, sand, and ceramic sculptures, the mind found a place to expand. A serene pause amid the city’s vibrant rhythm, an invitation to reconnect with material from a different perspective. There, design spoke in a low voice: through texture, through emptiness, through carefully directed light.

Every element of the space was intentionally designed. The sand, spread like a foundational gesture, evoked the raw material from which everything originates. That same material, transformed, took shape in the ceramic blocks that defined the exhibition landscape. The pieces, part of the new Gubi and Oda collections, emerged as silent volumes—solid and yet delicate—establishing a constant dialogue between architecture, art, and technique.

The surface of each block invited tactile interpretation: textures, reliefs, and finishes that came alive through light and shadow. Touch became an act of observation; sight, an exercise in attention. In this context, ceramics ceased to be a backdrop and became an experience. A design that does not interrupt, but accompanies.

This new participation in Milan Design Week was, for us, much more than an installation. It was an open conversation with all those who visited, as well as an opportunity to share our way of understanding design: slow, essential, and deeply human.

We leave Milan with gratitude and the desire to continue creating spaces that, rather than speak, whisper.
